Vatiswa Ndara’s Book Exposes SA’s Entertainment Industry, Rejected by Sellers

Renowned actress Vatiswa Ndara has faced marginalization from the entertainment industry since she publicly accused production companies of exploitation and criticized the Department of Sport, Arts, and Culture. Despite her talent as an actress, it seems that Vathiswa has lost the support of her fans.

According to a confirmed source, the former newsreader-turned-actress has encountered difficulties getting her autobiography into bookstores. Vatiswa Ndara is now selling her book “Unfiltered: My unglamorous odyssey in the World of South African Entertainment” independently because major bookstores have refused to carry it, according to sources close to the matter.

She has been sidelined ever since she exposed the ups and downs of the entertainment industry in the country,” a close friend said. The friend adds that Ndara is not giving up and is tired of begging main retailers to sell her book and has decided to take matters into her own hands. “She has been selling and promoting the book on her own and through her own connections,” adds another source.

According to a source close to Vathiswa Ndara, the actress has chosen to distance herself from the showbiz industry in favour of her own peace. Despite being labelled “crazy” for speaking out, Vathiswa remains vocal about her experiences. The source adds that the South African entertainment industry is unlike Hollywood, and it is easy for someone to be written off, especially if vocal.

It is unfortunate that the industry may lose a true and rare talent like Vathiswa’s. The source also reveals that Vathiswa has decided to focus her energy on other projects and is working with different people to help promote the sales of her book. However, no store wants to sell the book due to the individuals she mentions and exposes in her explosive tell-all.
